Burma Bridge Adventure is a unique fun activity and very popular among the Corporate Teams and all the thrill seekers willing to try something new. It helps to develop Risk taking ability, Body Balance. Burma Bridge is a long rope bridge that has been suspended at a height.
‘Burma Bridge’ is acquired from hanging bridges used extensively in Burma during World War II to cross numerous rivers. A Burma Bridge is usually constructed over a ditch, pond or a gorge, reasonably above the ground. It has three ropes set in a triangular fashion – a bottom foot rope on which participants walk and two ropes that serve as a ‘railing’ held by participants hands. The bridge swings slightly making it a challenge to balance, as they walk. With any high traversing element, an overhead belay cable parallels the lower cables, and acts as a safety measure. It’s an excellent choice for those challenged at elevation. A confidence building exercise which calls for body – mind balance and concentration.
We at Sieger, can run Burma Bridge activity anywhere, our only requirement is we need an open space with trees to tied rope between the trees as the bucket, lifts you from one tree to another and increases your enthusiasm. Two participants at a time can climb the structure and walk across the ropes from one end to another end.
Participants will complete the task under the guidance of experienced professionals who will ensure you are equipped with the required safety gears. Delight in this heart-racing step as you balance yourself on the rope while your colleagues, family and friends cheer for you.
