"Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO" allowing Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind. It was created by Beto Perez who choreographed all the moves that are derived from Latin roots. Zumba also have some Indian music and moves too. It is very fun and you don't even realize that you are exercising. Today Zumba involves the elements of various dance forms like belly dancing, salsa, merengue, hip-hop, martial arts and bhangra, etc. Now other forms of music such as, African Reggae tone are being used with additional dance moves.
Zumba is a fun, effective dance workout that is a good option for people who enjoy upbeat music and an energetic group exercise environment.
