Electric Fence Team Building Activity

The aim of the challenge is for the entire team to cross from one side of the fence to the other without touching the fence line. There are two variations of this challenge a more basic and the more advanced, both are great for developing teamwork and trust.

What makes this game interesting is that even though one player goes over the rope at a time, the other team members can help any way they want. Once a person is over the fence, however, he or she must stay over the fence and not come back around to help anyone. So the last person each time must somehow get over the fence without help from the other side. This game requires lots of teamwork and cooperation.

Electric fence require brainstorm strategies to cross over the fence as a group as well as maintain contact with the lifeline and use appropriate communication skills to develop solutions to the challenge. Working collaboratively to support fellow participants.

This activity requires lots of teamwork and cooperation. Rope at different heights, perhaps with several fences in a small obstacle course for more challenges.
