The Human Ladder teambuilding activity requires a high degree of trust and coordination on the part of the climber.
Human Ladder, like other group initiative tasks, is designed to offer “real” or “perceived” mental, physical, social and emotional challenges that are fun and rewarding. Within a trusting and supportive environment, these challenges are often successfully met through team problem solving.
Human Ladder is all about trusting your team! This exciting initiative requires participants to pair up and holding up a wooden dowel that serve as the “ladder” for another teammate to walk on. The formation will appear as a ladder with participants being the rails, and the dowel rods being the rungs.
The purpose of his activity is to help participants develop team cooperation, trust, communication skills, and problem solving. Throughout the activity participants will be enhancing their personal development and challenged as individuals to face their own perceived limitations. This activity can be facilitated under different variation viz., Racing, Relay, Sequential and etc., for team challenges.
