Tallest Tower Team Building Activity

Teams are asked to build the tallest, most cost-effective, free-standing tower using a packet of resource within the set time limit.

This Activity is competitive and requires creativity as well as good leadership, division of tasks, resource management and decision making. It also helps to improve communication skills.

The designs for this are always weird and wonderful and the sense of urgency is created by having a short timeframe. We would suggest a minimum of 30 minute and a maximum of 45 minutes. You will be amazed by the complexity and size of the towers created.

The task appears simple but with each block cut at a different angle and the need for all participants to work together, building the tower starts to get tricky! The task can only be solved by precise planning, good communication and well-organised teamwork.

The session can be used as a facilitated teambuild exercise as the dynamics of the team are pulled in different directions as they work to complete the task.
